Hey Beautiful !!

Today, I would like to share my review and thoughts on L’Oreal Professional Mythic Oil By Dilek Hanif. First of all, I would to thank Wonderbox and L’Oreal Professional for giving me the opportunity to review this product.

Mythic oils, have been used as a beauty product for centuries, due to their nutritive and protective properties.  In the ancient history, oils was commonly used for beauty, medicinal and aromatherapy purposes among women. From Ancient Egypt to Chinese, Japanese and Indian civilizations. Time by time, women have been using oils to keep their hair nourished, shiny and protected. L’Oreal Professional has teamed up with the Turkish Fashion Designer Dilek Hanif, and created a Couture Edition Mythic Oil. The oil came with a unique bracelet created by the designer Dilek Hanif. The packaging looks so luxurious, with gold and black wordings and the bracelet is tied at the bottle’s neck. It comes with an easy pump dispenser, where oil comes out smoothly to tame your frizzy tresses.

L’Oreal Professional Mythic Oil Couture Edition is a blend of avocado oil and grape seed oil, which leaves the hair instantly more supple, tamed and glossy. It immediately absorbs into your hair for a lightweight feel and finish. What I like about this oil, it doesn’t contain Parabens. I rather have my everyday products formulated without it.

This is how the pump looks like, I used one (1) pump in my handpalm, the oil looks clear in my hand, and I love the smell, it’s very subtle and luxurious.

mythic oil before and after1

Above in the picture, you can see my before and after when using the L’Oreal Professional Mythic Oil. In my before picture, you can see my hair is dry and frizzy, it is so out of shape, lifeless and dull. In my after picture, I used two (2) pumps, and I heat it up in my hand by rubbing, and applied in my dried hair afterwards. See how nicer my hair looks like. It’s less frizzy, it looks neat, and my curls look more lively, glossier and healthier.

My thoughts

Overall, I  love this product. Normally, hair oils make my hair oily, since it’s very thin,  it will become flat sometimes. You don’t need much product, one (1) or two (2) pumps are enough, depending on your hair-length and type.  For me, one (1) pump can be enough already. I like the effect, when I just toweled dried my hair, and apply the oil, when it’s dry my hair looks shinier and less frizzy. The oil doesn’t feel sticky or greasy in my hair, which I love.

Being in Malaysia, the weather is pretty humid, and my hair gets frizzy easily. When using the Mythic oil, my hair doesn’t get frizzy for a day, normally when I go out it’s just gets frizzy right away,  however the next day it will become frizzy again. So it is something that you might use everyday to tame your frizzy hair.
